Lakeland, Florida - October 26, 2026 - Michael Hallier, a self-published author and self-coached strength athlete, went from an inactive baseline on June 12, 2024 to his first leg press over 1,000 pounds in 635 days. Eight days later he filmed 1,097.5 pounds for three repetitions, on standard commercial gym machines.

On day 635, March 9, 2026, Hallier filmed a 1,037.5-pound leg press for one repetition, his first over 1,000 pounds. On day 643, March 17, 2026, he filmed 1,097.5 pounds for three repetitions through full range of motion at a bodyweight of 218 pounds, with a witness present. The machine is rated for 1,080 pounds.

The total is itemized on his website: sixteen 45-pound plates (720 pounds), six 25-pound plates (150 pounds), six 10-pound plates (60 pounds) and the 167.5-pound sled.

The record also includes a filmed 825-pound hack squat for six repetitions and a filmed 887.5-pound leg press for twelve repetitions. A 1,333-watt peak on an Echo Bike is documented by a photo of the console. More than 600 training hours are logged.

Hallier wrote the method down in The Hyperdensity Matrix Protocol, available on Amazon as a Kindle edition (free with Kindle Unlimited) and in paperback. Redline, Book Two, is the case study behind the numbers. It is available for pre-order on Amazon and publishes December 25, 2026. Every filmed set is on the Footage page at hyperdensitymatrix.com/footage.html.
